As a business leader, for over 25 years Michelle Pexa has successfully practiced as a management and performance consultant specializing in Conflict Resolution and Change Management in Workplace Cultures. She is a certified Mediator, Negotiator and Change Management Practioner.
In addition to consulting to a broad and diverse client base in various organizations, Michelle has also designed curriculum, trained, and coached leadership at all levels. As a keynote speaker she has shared platforms with key business leaders and government officials.
"My heart was filled with compassion for individuals in workplace environments where the chaos of change and unresolved conflicts took it's toll" Michelle especially became keenly aware of the impacts on high capacity women who were placed in leadership roles but struggled without resources to effectively address conflict. "These women were burning out and bringing the strain of unresolved work issues into their homes at the end of the day" It was this awareness and conviction that motivated Michelle to launch PeaceMaking on Purpose. "I wanted to expand critical resources to all women who felt stuck in Conflict situations, but I also wanted to bring faith and a biblical perspective into the training"
Michelle is an ordained minister and along side her husband Fred they have served together as senior pastors and ministry leaders for over 35 years. As a gifted preacher, teacher and dynamic trainer, Michelle has been a guest and keynote speaker in churches, conferences & events across Canada as well as internationally. Together Michelle and Fred have founded Kaio Ministries and Kaio International Development Solutions - A non-profit humanitarian organization. A talk show that launched during covid with the mandate to facilitate difficult conversations on societal issues from Both Sides.
Michelle and Fred have 3 married children and 7 grandchildren. They currently reside in Alberta Canada.
